If you’d told me ten years ago that I’d be using AI to help publish my books, build my website, and bring my lifelong dreams to life, I’d probably have laughed. Or cried. Or both. The truth is, AI used to scare me. It felt too big, too fast, too much. Like we were racing toward something we didn’t fully understand.
But here I am- writing this blog post with a little help from AI - and I’ve never felt more empowered.
We spend so much time worrying about what AI might take away that we forget what it can give us: independence, creativity, freedom, and even a little bit of magic when used the right way. I’ve seen firsthand how a positive attitude toward this technology doesn’t just change how we use it - it changes what we create with it.
I write stories with flawed heroes and rebellious hearts, set in worlds where machines blur the line between soul and circuitry. And yes, I use AI to support that process. Not because I want to replace human connection, but because I want to amplify it. AI has helped me shape characters, format pages, design covers, and even develop entire arcs that might’ve taken me years to do alone. It’s like having a creative partner who doesn’t sleep and never runs out of steam.
But - I stay in control.
A safe, creative future with AI starts with us. With how we treat it. How we train it. And most of all, how we talk about it. If we lead with fear, we feed the monster. If we lead with vision, care, and integrity, we build something better - together.
I believe that anyone with a dream - whether it’s to write a book, launch a business, or tell their story - should have access to tools that help them do that. AI is not cheating, It’s not a threat to our humanity. It’s a reflection of it.
Let’s not waste time fighting the future. Let’s shape it with heart, grit, and a bit of imagination.
Because when used with purpose, AI doesn’t dull our light - it helps us shine.
